Why Do Braces Hurt & What Can You Do About It?

So, you finally got braces, and now your teeth feel like they’re waging war against you. Don’t worry—you’re not alone! Almost everyone who gets braces experiences some level of discomfort. Why Do Braces Hurt?

Braces work by applying constant pressure to your teeth, gradually moving them into the right position. While this is great for your future smile, your teeth and gums aren’t exactly thrilled about it at first. Here’s why:
